Answer: No, not in your common household or office building system. Each individual sprinkler head has a glass or metal linkage that supports a plug in the sprinkler head. When the heat from the fire reaches an appropriate temperature, the linkage will break away and drop a plug which allows the water to spray onto the fire. Other heads in the same area will not activate until the heat from the fire reaches the appropriate temperature at those specific heads.
