Welcome to the Engineering Department.

James uses the AutoSprink software program to design the majority of projects that American Sprinkler is awarded.

Via the internet, architects and owners can send electronic files containing all floor plans, reflected ceiling plans and structural drawings to us. We use their drawings as background drawings so we can incorporate our fire protection system with accuracy.

Our entire system, from the water source to the most remote sprinkler head, is designed in a virtual 3-D. This method of design helps to establish clearances between other trades and to avoid conflicts with building structures.

Designing our systems on the computer assists in the coordination with other trades. Finding the problem areas on screen before the job starts optimizes the installation.


 

Sending us drawings? Follow these instructions:
Include any floor, ceiling, structure, sections, utility and mechanical plans.
All drawings need to be in a .dwg or a .dxf format.
Include all associated x-reference drawings.
Files can be zipped.
